Peter Labus from Germany tells his experience about his Naadi palm leaf
Palm leaf
First time I heard of palm leaf library and Akasha chronic in middle of the eighties. Since then I wished to visit one. In those days only a few people heard of this. Time passed by, I just knew I will see these libraries one day and when I visit India, than only to see the palm leaf manuscripts. Meanwhile I visited different countries except India. In summer 2009, many years later I decided to do an Internship in Journalism. I wanted to do it abroad and Pune seemed suitable because I knew quite a few people there. I realized that working for a newspaper maybe would not let me travel to South India where most of the palm leaf libraries are located. I thought it is a pity and I was disappointed but accepted not to visit these places. A few days after reaching Pune I met an old friend who invited me that day to a general Naadi reading although we never talked about my interests in it before. In that house I met Mr. Oak who is an expert in everything correlated with Naadi and Palm leafs who just has completed his extended version of his book Naadi Predictions. I learned there were at least ten Naadi readers settled in Pune and we fixed a date to visit one of these Naadi readers. Strange is that somehow the palm leafs have come to me, and not me to them. The right people and information crossed my way and offered possibilities to me.
A few days later we went to Shiva Shanmugam at Koregaon Park gave our thumbprint and waited while they searched for our leaf. There we met some very kind people; one of them was Mr. Oak, who always helped and translates into English. Another one was Paul from Czech who prepared a report about Naadi and palm leafs and filming different places to bring the topic nearer to people who are interested. They found my leaf quite quickly by asking me a few questions. Telling me my date and time of birth, I could verify the date but I didn’t know the time. Then they said my father and mothers name. My friend next to me said that leaf is wrong while the Naadi read my mother’s name. This was most astonishing because the pronunciation of my mother’s name was exactly as I did it and I did it always in a wrong way compared to other people. It was a long and astonishing reading. I can’t verify things said about my future. The readings had been taped and I will hear it back in Germany.
Not everybody gets his palm leaf, sometimes they have to travel to different places, and sometimes their leaf isn’t there at all.

What I heard about the history of Palm leaf
5000 – 7000 years ago seven Rishis lived in India. All times coexistent in every moment simultaneously, everything is preserved in the so called Akasha chronic. Some say palm leafs stem from Bhrigu, some say it comes from Shuka. After long meditation they were able to read the Akasha chronic others say this feasibility was given to Bhrigu by Lackschmi. These information have been engraved in stone later in special metal plates even later in old Tamil or Sanskrit. The world affairs and life and destiny of people living in future have been copied on palm leafs. Twelve fragmental copies were made on leafs of holly and have been passed down from twelve families from one generation to the next. Because of denaturation the information of old leafs has to be copied after a few hundred years onto new leafs. And because by verifying information in a kind of singing the mistakes while transcription are minimised. Mistakes would be disharmonic, somehow two systems protecting the information.
Only by mentioning this theme it becomes a little more known. With increasing demands of people wanting to know their future danger of possible misusing the palm leaf is given. Maybe some dishonest readers will try their luck to earn some money to serve everyone his leaf even if their leaf isn’t there.
